Lil Kim joins Roc Nation?

Rapper Lil Kim has joined Jay-Z's management company, Roc Nation, and Kim's fellow Brooklynite will executive produce the album as well.

A number of sources have reported the news, including gossip blogger Perez Hilton. No formal announcement has been made even though one is expected shortly.

"Although she's seen better days, Lil Kim is ready to make a musical comeback! The rapper officially signed a record deal with Roc Nation. Jay-Z is even expected to produce her next album. Interesting," said Perez Hilton.

More on the signing as news develops.

Gucci Mane working on new album

Rapper Gucci Mane has revealed that his album The State Vs. Radric Davis was the first installment of a three-part series of albums.

Gucci Mane told Ricky Padilla of Orlando’s 102 Jamz that his upcoming album The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted is the second album in a three-part trilogy.

“I been in the studio recording, I’m on like 30 songs,” Gucci Mane said. “I shot six videos on the day I got out. I got something on my chest that I want to get off. ”

Gucci Mane revealed that the third and final album will be titled The Final Verdict.

During the interview, Gucci Mane addressed an incident that took place during the filming of one of the videos last week.

Gucci’s associate Waka Flocka Flames was involved in a heated confrontation with Queial, a member of Atlanta rap group Da Congressmen and cousin of Young Jeezy associate, Slick Pulla.

Gucci, who is on probation, looked on as Queial and other members of The Congressmen interrupted the video shoot, leading Waka Flock’s friends to restrain him during the altercation.

“It was dead before it started,” Gucci said of the confrontation. “I’m just getting out so I didn’t really know what was going on but it wasn’t a problem.”

Gucci Mane is slated to appear on 106 & Park next week to premiere the video for “911 Emergency” from his mixtape "Burrrprint 2" with DJ Holiday.

The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted is due in stores this August, according to Gucci Mane.

Fleshn Bone Fined $150 Over Gun Incident

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony group member Flesh-N-Bone struck a plea deal with prosecutors today involving a 1998 incident involving his mother.

Flesh, born Stanley Howse, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of aggravated disorderly conduct. The rapper was fined $150 dollars.

Police said they had a previous warrant out for Flesh for domestic violence with a firearm and felonious assault over in Cleveland dating back to 1998, when allegedly struck his mother with a gun.

When Bone held their highly anticipated reunion show at The House of Blues in Cleveland in March, police rushed the stage and arrested Flesh.

Hit mother Pamela, who was in attendance, fainted and had to be treated at a local hospital after suffering an anxiety attack in the pandemonium.

Both Flesh and his brother Layzie Bone have denied official accounts that their mother was struck with a gun.

"That's a damn lie," Layzie told The Plain Dealer. "My brother never struck my mother. "I was right there. What happened was, some dudes walked up and were hating on us, and my mother got in the middle of it. She was trying to protect her children. And then they're gonna say my brother hit my mother -- c'mon, man. We aren't barbaric.”
